Scan whiskey labels, rate bottles, log every pour, and track your home bar.
Uncasked is a whiskey scanner and journal for your home bar. Scan a bottle's label, put it on your shelf, rate it, and log every pour with tasting notes. Over time, your journal tells you what your palate likes. One whiskey app for the whole bar: a whiskey scanner and bourbon scanner for every label, a shelf, a pour journal, and a guide. HOW IT WORKS 1. Search 490+ bottles by name or distillery, or photograph the label. 2. The whiskey scanner's AI reads the label: distillery, type, age statement, region, proof, cask, and a tasting profile, plus an estimated retail and secondary market range in your local currency. 3. Put it on your shelf or your wishlist, then log pours as you drink. YOUR SHELF • Every bottle on a wooden shelf, in a grid, or in a ledger • The bottle lifted out of your own photo, on your phone • Filter by bourbon, rye, scotch, Irish, Japanese, and more, or by what's running low • Sealed, open, or empty, with a fill level and about how many pours are left • A wishlist for the bottles you're hunting • Share your shelf as a poster POUR JOURNAL • Pour size, and neat, rocks, water, or cocktail • An optional score out of 10 for each pour • A flavor wheel: tap a family, pick the notes (caramel, peat, sherry, rye spice, and dozens more) • Your own nose, palate, and finish notes, and what you paired it with RATE EVERY BOTTLE Score each bottle and see where it lands: Pass, Sipper, Shelf staple, or Grail. YOUR PALATE Once you've logged a few pours, Uncasked reads your journal and sums up what you lean toward, with your top flavor notes and your average score. It refreshes every month. THE GUIDE Ask a whiskey expert anything: production, regions, cask types, storage, how long an open bottle keeps, or what to pour next. The Guide knows your shelf and your palate, and searches the web when it needs current facts. VALUE ESTIMATES An identified bottle can carry an estimated MSRP and secondary market range in your currency. They are estimates: verify on auction sites before you buy, sell, or insure. NO ACCOUNT, ON YOUR PHONE No sign-up. Your shelf, photos, pours, and chats are stored on your device. Reset All Data erases everything. 7 LANGUAGES English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, and Portuguese (Brazil). SUBSCRIPTION A subscription is required to use Uncasked.
