Log each glass in one tap. Quiet reminders you can skip. Stays on this phone.
Sip Log is a water log for your phone. It records the drinks you enter and can remind you between a wake time and a sleep time you choose. It does not represent a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or set a medical water target. Log a glass in one tap. Presets start at Small (150 ml), Glass (250 ml), Mug (350 ml), and Bottle (500 ml). You can rename a cup, change its size, or add another. A custom amount is a number you type, in millilitres or US fluid ounces. Today shows how much is logged, how much is left, and a streak of days that met the goal. Week shows the last seven days. Set a daily goal you can edit. Optional weight, activity (desk, on your feet, or hard work), and a warm or dry climate only suggest a starting number, about 30 ml per kilogram plus a fixed add-on. You can ignore that number, type your own, or reset the goal to 2,000 ml. The suggestion is not medical advice. Reminders are normal notifications. They do not lock the screen, and you can open another app without logging a drink. On the notification, Log records your usual glass and Skip dismisses that reminder. Defaults are every 2 hours from 8:00 to 21:00, with sound off until you turn it on. Hourly is a choice. “Stop at goal” is on by default, so reminders pause after you reach today’s target. You can change wake time, sleep time, and the interval any day. The first screen asks for a name, which reminder text can use, and a short daily note may appear. Those notes are general comments, not health advice. You can deny notification permission and still log drinks. Your log stays on this phone. There is no account and no cloud backup. Drinks, cups, your name, an optional weight, the goal, and reminder settings are stored in a local database. You can delete one drink, delete all data in Settings, export a CSV or a JSON backup, or import a Sip Log backup (that replaces the log on this phone). Uninstalling the app removes the local copy. Android backup is off. Settings can show other apps from the same developer. That list is loaded from a public catalog and cached on the device for up to 7 days. Your drinks are not included in that request. This version does not show ads. The app includes Google AdMob, and that code stays idle while the ad switch is off. If a later version turns ads on, they can be an app-open ad, an interstitial after you change tabs or reach the daily goal, and a rewarded ad before a CSV export. There is no banner. Drink amounts are not sent to the ad network. There is no in-app purchase in this version. Sip Log is for adults keeping their own log. It is not directed at children and is not part of Designed for Families.
