Log BP, blood sugar, and weight. Make a PDF for your doctor. On this phone only.
Vital Book is a personal notebook for home readings. It is not a medical device, not a diagnosis, and it does not measure blood pressure or blood sugar. Log numbers you already took with your own cuff, meter, or scale. Readings stay on this phone. There is no account and no cloud sync. WHAT YOU CAN LOG • Blood pressure (top number, bottom number, optional pulse) • Blood sugar, marked fasting, before a meal, 2 hours after a meal, random, or bedtime • Weight • Medicine doses • Symptoms or notes, with an optional severity from 1 to 5 REFERENCE RANGES • Blood pressure labels follow common ACC/AHA bands • Blood sugar labels follow common ADA context bands • These labels are general guides. A doctor may set different targets. The app does not diagnose or tell you what medicine to take. TODAY, HISTORY, AND TRENDS • Today shows the latest blood pressure, blood sugar, and weight • Quick log for each type, plus today’s medicine checklist • History grouped by day. Filter by type. Tap a row to edit or delete. • Trends for blood pressure, blood sugar, and weight over 7, 30, or 90 days, or all time MEDICINES • Save a name, dose, and how many times a day • Tick doses on Today • Optional daily reminder. It stays off until you turn it on and allow notifications. One reminder per medicine. Missed alarms are not replayed. DOCTOR REPORT • PDF with averages, charts, medicine doses, and the readings in the period you pick (2 weeks, 30 days, 90 days, or all time) • CSV spreadsheet. Units are in the headers. Cells are numbers. • A JSON backup file you keep, and restore only after you confirm • Delete all data on this phone UNITS AND APPEARANCE • Blood sugar in mg/dL or mmol/L • Weight in lb or kg • Light, dark, or match the phone • Date, time, and date of birth use the Android system pickers YOUR DATA • Stored in a database on this phone • A reading is not uploaded when you save it • You choose when to share a PDF, spreadsheet, or backup through the Android share sheet • An empty log can be filled with sample data so you can look around. Delete it from the report screen. This log is for personal tracking. It does not treat high blood pressure or diabetes. If a reading looks very high or very low, follow the note on screen and contact emergency care or your clinician.
