Phone info & hardware specs: CPU, GPU, RAM, screen, sensors, codecs, DRM.
Device Info is a complete hardware info and system info app for your phone: CPU and chipset, GPU, RAM and storage, screen, cameras, sensors, battery, codecs, Widevine DRM and Android build details, on five screens, with live bars for what is happening right now. No account, and no permission prompt unless you turn on the status bar monitor. Free with ads; Device Info Pro removes them.
Every number comes from the phone itself — Build, /proc, /sys and the public system services, never guessed from a model database.
DEVICE CHECK
A section at the top of Device cross-checks what the phone claims against what it can actually do: Android version vs API level, build fingerprint, cores, RAM, storage, real photo size and refresh rate, gyroscope, root signs. It catches contradictions, not a careful fake — and says so.
WHAT CHANGED
After a system update, see what moved: Android version, security patch, build number, kernel and bootloader, old next to new. The history stays on this phone.
HOME SCREEN WIDGET
CPU, RAM, storage and battery on your home screen, with a refresh button, plus a Quick Settings tile for RAM. Neither needs a permission.
WHAT IT SHOWS
• Right now — live bars for CPU clock, RAM in use, storage and battery, refreshed every second
• Device — manufacturer, model, board, hardware, SKU, bootloader, build fingerprint
• Battery — level, status, chemistry, voltage, temperature, charge now, design capacity
• Chipset — SoC maker and model, CPU part, instruction sets, cores, ABIs, live per-core clock bars, thermal state
• GPU — vendor, renderer, OpenGL ES and shading language, Vulkan, GL extensions
• Memory and storage — total, free and used RAM, swap, app heap limit, internal and shared
• Screen — resolution, usable area, density, size in dp, diagonal, dpi, refresh rate, display modes, HDR, cutout
• Cameras — max resolution, focal length, aperture, sensor size, Camera2 hardware level, ISO range
• Sensors — every sensor with vendor, range, resolution and power, plus a live reading
• Android — version, API level, security patch, build ID and date, kernel, runtime, uptime, root check
• DRM — Widevine security level, so you know whether Netflix will give you HD or cap you at SD
• Codecs — every video and audio decoder and encoder, marked hardware or software
• Connectivity — connection type, carrier, SIM country, radio, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Aware, Bluetooth LE, NFC, GPS, local IP
SEARCH, SAVE AND SHARE
Search narrows the list to matching specs across every section. One tap copies a field. Share the whole report as text or PDF, or save it as a .txt or .pdf file — handy when buying or selling a phone or filing a bug report. The share icon on a section header sends just that part.
LIGHT AND DARK
Follows the system theme, or choose Light or Dark in Settings.
FREE WITH ADS, PRO WITHOUT
• Every spec, report, widget and tile is free. The free version shows a banner under the tabs and, at most every few minutes, a full-screen ad right after you save a report — never while you browse specs.
• Device Info Pro removes all ads: monthly, 3-month or yearly subscription (the yearly plan starts with a free trial for new subscribers). Prices show before you buy; cancel any time in Google Play.
• Had Device Info before this update? You stay ad-free at no cost.
PRIVACY
Everything is read on the phone and stays there. The app does not read your IMEI or serial number (it never requests READ_PHONE_STATE), does not ask for location, does not use QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES to enumerate your installed apps, and has no account to sign in to. Ads come from Google AdMob and Unity Ads, which may use your advertising ID; where the law requires it you are asked for consent first, and can change it in Settings. Anonymous usage counts and crash reports (Google Analytics and Crashlytics) carry no specs and no personal data, and can be switched off in Settings.
Android 6.0 and up. Specs are read with no connection; ads and purchases need one.
