Outline your ideas and see them as a mind map: brainstorm, plan and take notes
Mind Map Pro lets you see and edit the same ideas two ways: as a nested bulleted outline and as a mind map. Jot things down fast in the outline, then switch to the map to see the big picture and rearrange it. Both views edit one shared tree, so they always show the same content. Great for brainstorming, planning, meeting notes, book notes and study. No account or sign-in. Your maps are stored on your device and work offline. There is no limit on the number of maps or items. KEY FEATURES • Switch between outline and mind map in one tap The selected item stays selected when you switch, and anything you are typing is committed first, so nothing is lost on the way. • An outline that feels like a bulleted list Type in place. Enter adds the next item; Backspace on an empty item deletes it. Indent, outdent and move items from the bar above the keyboard, or drag the ⋮⋮ handle. Collapse branches, expand or collapse all, and show numbering (1.2.3) and notes. • A mind map that lays itself out Items are placed automatically: both sides, right or left. Pinch to zoom, fit the whole map or center the selection. Long-press an item and drop it on another to move the branch there; drop it on empty space and it goes back where it was. • Rich items Multi-line text and notes, 12 colors that children inherit, checkboxes with automatic progress (done items are struck through), 36 emoji markers, and links to web pages, email or phone. Focus on one branch of a big map and climb back up with the breadcrumbs. • Undo, search and #tags Up to 200 steps of undo and redo. Search item text and notes; matches are highlighted in both views with previous/next and a count. Write a #tag in any item and tap it to find every item with that tag. • Copy and paste branches Copy, paste and duplicate whole branches. Paste indented text or Markdown with headings and it becomes a branch with the same structure. • 8 templates to get started Project plan, SWOT analysis, 5W1H, Goal setting, Five whys, Book notes, Weekly plan and Meeting notes. • Works with other apps Import Xmind, FreeMind / Freeplane (.mm), OPML, Markdown and indented text from a file, from another app's Open or Share, or from the clipboard. Export Xmind, FreeMind, OPML, Markdown and plain text to a file or share it. Text-based export is free. • Never lose your work Every change is saved 0.6 seconds after you type and when you leave the screen. Version history keeps a version every 10 minutes, up to 20 per map. Deleted maps stay in the trash for 30 days. Back up all maps and images to one .zip file (Google Drive and other locations work too) and restore without overwriting the maps you have. • Organize your maps Maps appear as cards with a preview and checklist progress. Sort, pin, search by title, rename or duplicate. • Make it yours Light, dark or system theme, 6 accent colors, adjustable text size, and hardware keyboard shortcuts (Tab, Ctrl+Z / Y, Ctrl+F).
