90/180 day counter for Schengen-area trips: days left, plans, days per country.
StayTally is a Schengen calculator for the 90/180 rule. Type in your trips, and it shows how many Schengen days you have used in the last 180, how many are left, and when counted days start dropping out of the window. Add a trip you have not booked yet and it tells you straight away whether it fits, or the day it would go over 90.
StayTally is an independent app. It is not made by, endorsed by or connected to the European Union or any government.

THE WINDOW
• Days left in large type, and days used out of 90
• A strip of the last 180 days: counted days in red, uncounted days in green, so you can see which old trips are about to drop out
• Check any date, past or future, not only today
• In the area right now? See the last day you can stay
• When the next counted day leaves the window, and when all 90 are available again if you stay outside the area
PLAN BEFORE YOU BOOK
• Add future trips the same way as past ones; they show on the strip with a dashed bracket
• Each planned trip says whether it fits, with the days to spare, or the exact day it goes over 90 and the latest exit that would fit
• Latest exit: pick an arrival date and see how long you can stay
• Earliest entry: enter a stay of up to 90 days and see the first arrival date that fits
HOW IT COUNTS
• The day you arrive and the day you leave both count as a day
• One shared pool across every Schengen country, and a travel day between two of them counts once
• Croatia counts from 1 January 2023, and Bulgaria and Romania from 31 March 2024, when the Schengen rules began to apply there
• Countries outside the area (UK, Ireland, Cyprus, Morocco and the rest) are not counted toward 90/180
DAYS PER COUNTRY
• Days in every country you visit, this year, over the last 12 months, or over a tax year you set (6 April for the UK)
• Set a day limit for each country, starting at 183 days, and see the day you would reach it
• Choose how days count: every day present, nights only, arrival but not departure, or departure but not arrival
REMINDERS
• A warning a week before your last legal day (or 3, 14 or 21 days), and one on the day itself
• A note when a day comes back while you are low
• A reminder the evening before each trip ends
RECORDS
• An English PDF with your trips, 90/180 count and days per country, to keep with your travel papers or share with an adviser
• CSV export of every trip for a spreadsheet
• Back up every trip and limit to one file and restore it on a new phone
PRIVATE AND OFFLINE
• No account and no sign up
• No location permission: trips are typed in, never tracked
• Your trips stay on your phone and are never uploaded
• Ads and crash reports go through Google services, as listed in the data safety section
WHO IT'S FOR
UK and other non-EU travellers checking their Schengen allowance now that border crossings are recorded electronically, second home owners and retirees wintering in Spain or Portugal, motorhome travellers, and digital nomads counting days for residency.
StayTally counts the trips you enter. It is a calculator, not legal or tax advice, and it does not know your visa or residency rules. Check the rules that apply to you with the relevant authority.
Standard tier: unlimited past trips, the window for any date and one planned trip, with a small banner on the Trips tab. StayTally Pro adds unlimited planned trips, the latest exit and earliest entry answers, your own limits per country, reminders, the PDF and CSV, and removes ads.
