Tacked helps you track embroidery projects on a virtual corkboard
Tacked gives your embroidery projects a beautiful home on a virtual corkboard. Each needlework piece becomes a miniature fabric hoop pinned to a textured cork surface, complete with a hand-stitched name and a tiny threaded needle that shows its exact status. A needle pointing right means you are actively stitching, a needle hanging left signals a paused project, and a delicate tied knot celebrates a completed finish. The Dashboard greets you with cross-stitched counters that tally your works in progress and completions for the month, plus a quick-action needle button that lets you start a new entry in one tap. A small sampler card also displays your three most recently updated hoops so you can pick up right where you left off. In the Projects tab, you can scroll through every hoop you have created, tap any miniature to edit its details, or use a long-press menu to remove it from the board entirely. The New Stitch form makes logging a breeze: you give the project a name, choose its current stage, pick a hoop size, and list the floss colours you are using, then it stitches itself onto the corkboard. When a project reaches completion, it moves automatically to the Gallery, where a clean grid of finished hoops celebrates your handwork. From the Gallery, you can reopen a completed piece and set it back to In Progress if you ever want to revisit a favourite design. Everything you record stays stored locally on your device, so your creative log is private, available offline, and never requires an account or internet connection. This app is built for crafters who juggle multiple stitching projects and want a calm, visual way to stay on top of their needlework without spreadsheets or notebooks. The entire interface uses soft fabric textures, threaded spool navigation, and warm earthy colours that make logging progress feel like part of your craft ritual. Whether you work on one large piece or a handful of seasonal samplers, Tacked helps you see exactly where every project stands and what needs your needle next. Start pinning your stitching world onto a corkboard that feels unmistakably handmade.
