Darts counter for 501 and 301 with checkout hints. No account, works offline.
Darts Scoreboard is a darts scorer for 501 and the other X01 games, built for one phone that gets passed around the board. Tap in each dart as it lands and the app does the subtraction. When a finish is on, it shows you what to aim for. It's free and has no ads or purchases. You don't need an account either. HOW SCORING WORKS • Tap a number to score a single, or pick Double or Treble first. The 25 key is the outer bull, and with Double selected it's the Bull. • The big number is what the player at the board has left. It drops with every dart. • Under it you get a checkout for the darts left in the turn, like T20 T20 Bull on 170. After the third dart it shows the checkout for the next visit. • A bust puts the score back where the turn started. In double out, leaving 1 or reaching 0 without a double is a bust too. • Undo goes back a step at a time, as far as the first dart of the leg • Wrong person at the board? Tap the right name before entering the first dart. GAMES AND PLAYERS • 101, 301, 501 or 701 • Double out or straight out. Straight out suits newer players: any dart that brings you to exactly 0 wins, and the checkout hints change to match. • 1 to 6 players, in the throw order you set. Each new leg, the next player in line throws first. • Names from earlier games show up as chips you can tap to add STATS AND HISTORY Darts Scoreboard saves every finished leg. Each player gets a three dart average, darts thrown, highest turn and a count of 100+, 140+ and 180 turns. Double out legs add a checkout percentage, counted from darts thrown at a finishing double. The winner's checkout is listed with the dart that finished it, and the whole leg is there turn by turn. Rematch starts the same game with the same players, and you can delete one leg or clear everything. AT THE BOARD The screen stays on while you play (switch Keep awake off if you'd rather it didn't). Each dart gives a short vibration, and a bust or a checkout feels different, as long as touch feedback is on in your phone's settings. The numbers are large and light on a dark background, which helps in a dim pub. It also works with TalkBack and with large font sizes. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO You enter darts one at a time, not a total for the visit. That's what lets it update the checkout after each dart and count your darts at a double, but if you'd rather type 60 or 100 per turn, this isn't the app for you. Darts Scoreboard only does X01, so there's no cricket, and there are no bots or online matches. For those, another darts counter will suit you better. QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK Does it work offline? Yes. The app doesn't even have internet permission, so it can't send your scores anywhere. What if the app closes in the middle of a leg? The game is saved after every dart and opens right where you left off. Can I practice on my own? Yes. Set up one player, and History keeps your average for every leg you play. Will my history move to a new phone? If Android backup is on, yes. History and your player list are included in it. Found a checkout you'd play differently, or a score that looks wrong?
