- New Tokyo map: every station and line, in English and Japanese - Directions, first and last train and service alerts on Toei lines - Toei Bus stops and buses on their way - Near me and saved places
Suica, PASMO & ICOCA balance and a Tokyo rail map for Japan trips. No sign-up
Check your Suica, PASMO or ICOCA balance and ride history in seconds. Hold your Japanese IC card against your Android phone: no sign-up, no account, and reading works offline. Reading the card happens entirely on your device, and what is on the card never leaves it. There is also a Tokyo rail map with Toei subway directions and Toei Bus stops. TRAVELLING IN JAPAN? Not sure how much is left on your card before the next train? Tap it to see your balance and your recent journeys, with the stations you entered and exited. Free, in English and Japanese. You need the physical IC card; the app cannot top it up. WHEN YOU NEED IT - Check your balance right after passing through the gate - See when, where and how much you spent - Confirm you have enough charge before heading out - Check that the fare you were charged is correct FEATURES - Balance: tap the card and the balance appears immediately - Trip history: journeys, top-ups, purchases and bus rides in date order - Station names: 5,936 stations built in, showing where you entered and exited - Fares: worked out from two records that sit next to each other on the card - History that outlives the card: the card itself keeps only its last 20 records, but this app saves what it reads every time — the longer you use it, the more of your past journeys it holds - Multiple cards: save each one under a name of your choosing - Japanese and English, with light and dark themes TOKYO MAP - Rail map: every station and line around Tokyo, in English and Japanese. Tap a line to pick it out - Station details: the lines and operators at each station; on Toei lines also the station code, the next stations, the first and last train and how often trains run - Directions on the Toei subway: scheduled minutes on the train between two Toei stations, with every change spelled out - Toei Bus: every stop and the routes that call there, and how many stops away the next bus is - Near me: the closest stations or stops, by straight-line distance. Your location is used on the phone only, never stored or sent - Saved places: star the stations and stops you use Times and directions currently cover Toei lines only. The map needs an internet connection. SUPPORTED CARDS Transit IC cards covered by Japan's nationwide mutual-use scheme: Suica, PASMO, ICOCA, TOICA, manaca, PiTaPa, SUGOCA, nimoca, Hayakaken and Kitaca. PRIVACY - Your card data — balance, trips, stations, serial number — is never sent anywhere - There is no account to create - What the app reads stays on your phone, and you can delete all of it at any time from Settings - The map uses the internet to fetch map tiles and Toei's live service information. Nothing from your card is sent - The app is free and shows ads, and reports anonymous usage and crash data so problems can be fixed. Neither ever contains anything from your card. WHAT IT CANNOT DO - It cannot add money to your card. This is a read-only app that never writes to a card — top up at a station machine or a convenience store - It never shows anything the card did not record. A station it cannot identify is labelled unknown rather than guessed at - It does not show commuter pass details or the name printed on the card REQUIREMENTS An Android phone with NFC (FeliCa). Turn NFC on before scanning. PLEASE NOTE This is an unofficial app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any transit operator or card issuer. Station data comes from ekicode / IC SFCard Fan. Map stations and lines: MLIT National Land Numerical Information. Toei data: Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation via the Public Transportation Open Data Center. Map: OpenFreeMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors. The app is free and supported by advertising.
