A weathered fishing dock at golden hour. Brass cleats sit in a grid of sockets, colored ropes run between them, and every place two ropes cross is marked with a pulsing red X. Drag the cleats until nothing crosses. Simple to learn, and it gets properly tricky. Tangle is a hand-tuned rope puzzle across ten Pacific Northwest locations and 200 docks, and every location teaches one new idea: - Cedar Cove: the basics, drag a cleat and the ropes follow - Crab Pot Row: moves are limited, and fewer moves earn more stars - Iron Wharf: iron cleats are bolted down and never move - Bungee Bight: striped bungee cords only stretch so far - Weaver's Reach: over and under, same-color ropes may cross - Knot Head Light: bring every knot home to its painted zone - Reef Rocks: rocks sit on sockets, and ropes run right over them - Tide Swap Quay: drop a cleat on another cleat and they trade places - Trawler Basin: big tangles with fifteen cleats and more - Storm Harbor: everything at once, with boss docks to close it out THREE STARS, THREE GOALS Every dock tells you its goals before you start: clear it in the move limit, clear it in a few more moves than the shortest solution, or match the shortest solution plus one. Every dock has been solved to three stars by our test solver, so every star is earnable.
