Study, Test or Party: three ways to play a deck you wrote yourself. Questions can be Multiple choice, True / False, Type the answer or Flashcard, and Study brings cards back for spaced review. Party hands one phone around for 2 to 6 players taking turns.
Make your own quizzes and flashcards, study with spaced review, test yourself
Quiz Forge is a quiz maker for your own questions: write quizzes and flashcards, then study them, test yourself against a pass mark or pass one phone around for a party round. ▶ TYPED ANSWERS, CHECKED FAIRLY • Each "Type the answer" question holds up to 10 accepted answers. • Checking ignores capitals, extra spaces, full-width forms and punctuation at the ends. • Accents are ignored too: "cafe" counts for "café", and the app shows you the accents. • Spelling matters? Switch on "Capitals must match" or "Accents must match" for that question. • Optional for a deck: allow one typo in answers of 5 or more letters without digits. • After a miss you see your answer and the accepted answer with the differing letters highlighted. • Still sure you were right? Tap "I was right". The answer counts as correct, and the results show how many you marked yourself. ▶ EVERY EDIT KEPT • Your deck saves while you type: within 2 seconds of your last edit, at least every 5 seconds while typing, and when you go back, start a quiz or leave the app. • The editor shows Saving…, Saved or Not saved. If a save fails, your text stays on screen and the app tries again; tap Not saved to retry. • Deleted a question or a deck by mistake? Undo is there for 5 seconds. • Library backup: one file with every deck, your study progress, results and the list of deleted decks. Keep it where you like and restore it on a new phone; each deck is merged by its newest version. No sign-in needed. ▶ STUDY, TEST OR PARTY • Study: five Leitner boxes. A right answer moves a card up a box (next review after 1, 2, 4, 8 or 16 days); a miss sends it back to box 1. Choose 10, 20, 50 or all new cards a day. • Test: a score in percent, an optional pass mark from 50 to 100 %, Retry wrong, Same order again and Review answers. The last 200 results of each deck are kept. • Party: 2 to 6 players share one phone and take turns. Answers stay hidden until the next player confirms their name. With a time limit, faster correct answers earn more points; the podium shows the ranks. • Time limit per question: 10, 20, 30 or 60 seconds (Test and Party). • Shuffle questions and answer options, or keep the last option last. ▶ FOUR QUESTION TYPES • Multiple choice with 2 to 6 options and one or more correct answers ("Select all that apply"). • True / False. • Type the answer. • Flashcards: tap to flip, then Knew it or Didn't know. • Up to 2,000 questions per deck. Decks appear as coloured tiles with the number of cards due and your last test score. ▶ IMPORT AND SHARE • Import a CSV file (comma, semicolon or tab; with or without a header row) and check it in a preview before anything is saved. Rows with a problem are listed with the reason and skipped, never cut short. • Share a deck as a deck file for Quiz Forge, as CSV, or as printable text with an answer key at the end. • Files are picked with the system file picker and sent with the share sheet. The app asks for no permissions. ▶ GOOD TO KNOW • Questions hold text and emoji. • Party is played by passing one phone around; other phones can't join a round. • "I was right" is not offered in Party, so every player is scored the same way. • CSV files don't carry the per-question "must match" switches; the deck file keeps them. • Decks are saved in the app. Make a library backup before you change phones. • Ads appear on the deck list: a banner, and sometimes a full-screen ad when you return to it. Never during a quiz, in the editor or on results.
