not seeing way to choose to have app convert from meters (shows on open) to feet

Good news — it's already there, it's just too well hidden, which is our fault. Tap the "m" label directly under the big altitude number and it switches to feet (it remembers your choice). We're making that label look like the button it is in the next update, so nobody else has to hunt for it. Thanks for flagging it.
The only one that worked when offline and no ad consent was needed. I'll look into other apps from the same dev.
