The app uses a dark-pattern consent popup that forces me to accept things I don't want to consent to, unless I spend several minutes going through all the options and vendors to manually turn off each and every one of them. [Edit: thanks for the detailed response, do let me know when it has been fixed.]

Thank you for the honest feedback. The consent dialog is Google's UMP form; we do not draw it in the app, but we do control how it is configured. We are reviewing the setup so that declining is as quick as accepting. If you email smartoolsdev@gmail.com we will follow up when the change is live.
It DO NOT MIRROR CAST to your TV its a WASTE of your DATA and YOU GET a VIRUS FROM THERE APP

Thanks for the note — that's a fair expectation from the name. SimpleMirror is a front-camera mirror for looking at yourself; it doesn't screen-cast to a TV. Sorry it wasn't what you were after.
Lies about no adds and cookies

Thanks for the review. To be clear: our Play listing doesn't claim the app is ad-free, and SimpleMirror doesn't use cookies. If you saw something that suggested otherwise, tell us where and we'll get it corrected.

Thanks for flagging this — you're right that there's no flip/mirror-image toggle at the moment. We've noted it as a feature request and will look at adding it. Sorry it wasn't there when you needed it.

foggy unusable

Hi Rick, sorry the mirror's coming out foggy — that's not normal. A few things can cause it: a smudged front camera lens (a quick wipe usually clears it), the brightness slider set too low, or a phone case partially covering the lens.
mean everything cause in a mirror I ain't known to have what actually works.

Haven't use mirror apps for at least 5 years, & was hoping this time around, the advancement would be on par with my expectation. This app is very helpful, & has lived up to modern expectation, of what a mirror app is suppose to look like 😎
