Two levels on Android: SAT and Pre-SAT (grades 9-10). A mistake notebook that asks your missed questions again until you get them right four times in a row. A parent summary of the week's practice. A new first screen with a picture for each level.
SAT® prep: Pre-SAT and SAT levels, a mistake notebook and a parent summary.
Most SAT® prep starts in junior year. Overprep is built for the whole climb, with a level for each age: Pre-SAT for grades 9-10 and SAT for grades 11-12. A student starts where they are and moves up, and a parent can see how it is going. CHOOSE YOUR LEVEL • SAT (grades 11-12): full-difficulty practice, scored 200-800 a section. • Pre-SAT (grades 9-10): the same two-module format with easier questions, a good fit for the PSAT 8/9 and PSAT 10. Scored 160-760 a section, as an estimate. FIX WHAT YOU MISS Every question you get wrong goes into your mistake notebook with a reason: left blank, rushed, took too long, a careless slip, or a gap in the concept. Overprep asks it again after a day, three days and a week, and only counts it as fixed after you get it right four times in a row. A SUMMARY FOR PARENTS See the week's practice time, the latest score against the goal, how many mistakes are fixed and which skills need work, and share it in one tap. It reports what happened. It does not predict a score. Free for an account's first week, then part of Premium. SIT A SECTION IN THE REAL FORMAT • Reading and Writing: 54 questions in two 27-question modules, 64 minutes • Math: 44 questions in two 22-question modules, 70 minutes • How you do on module 1 decides whether module 2 is the harder or the easier form, as on the real test • Mark questions for review and cross out choices • On Math: a calculator, a graphing calculator and the reference sheet, and typed-answer questions with the real entry rules DRILL ONE SKILL AT A TIME Every tested skill can be drilled on its own, in every level. EVERY QUESTION EXPLAINED Review every question, right or wrong: the reasoning, and why each wrong choice was tempting. FREE • One full timed section a week, Reading and Writing or Math • Two skill drills a day • An explanation on every question, and the mistake notebook • Premium is a one-year pass that does not renew STRAIGHT ANSWERS • Scores are estimates. College Board publishes neither the routing threshold nor the official score conversion, so treat each score as a trend line, not a prediction. The Pre-SAT estimate has not been calibrated against real PSAT scores. • The questions are machine-written, then checked: an independent second solve on every grammar and every Math question, plus automatic checks for mistakes we have caught before. Some still get through, so every question has a report button. Works offline once installed, except sign-in, purchases and sync. No ads. Two looks, Soft and Sleek.
