Get a clearer picture of your phone's Widevine level and keep a DRM report handy.
Check Widevine levels, understand streaming limits and save DRM reports
Streaming in SD and wondering why? DRM Info shows the Widevine security level reported by your Android phone and explains what it can mean for protected video playback. Open the app to see your reported Widevine level. Refresh when you want a new reading, explore the available DRM details, or save a report to compare later. CHECK YOUR PHONE'S DRM - See Widevine L1, L2 or L3 when Android provides a recognised value. - Distinguish unknown results, unsupported systems and read errors. - Check Widevine, ClearKey and PlayReady support separately. - Explore available properties and maximum or connected HDCP information. UNDERSTAND STREAMING LIMITS Read clear explanations of Widevine levels and practical steps for checking playback specifications in your streaming app. L1 alone does not guarantee HD. Playback also depends on the service, subscription, device certification and other conditions. EXPLORE MEDIA INFORMATION Browse reported display HDR types and available audio and video decoders. Search by decoder or format, filter audio and video, and inspect available implementation, secure playback and capability information. Codec and HDR metadata describe what Android reports; they do not certify HD or 4K playback. KEEP A USEFUL REPORT - Save readings with a name, note and favourite marker. - Compare two readings from the same physical device. - Copy individual values or a readable report. - Preview and share a selected report as text or JSON. - Export your report history and import a compatible JSON backup. - Delete saved reports, with Undo for an accidental deletion. Reports and preferences are stored on your device. You choose whether to export or share them. There are no accounts, advertisements or analytics SDKs. IMPORTANT LIMITS DRM Info reads device information. It cannot upgrade L3 to L1, change DRM certification, unlock HD, repair DRM or test the protection of a video file. Some manufacturers expose incomplete information. A changed reading alone does not prove a device fault. DRM Info is an independent Android utility and is not affiliated with Netflix or the providers of the DRM systems it displays.
