Volume booster with 10-band EQ. Adjust bass and save settings to a profile.
Sonic AMP pairs a volume booster with a 10-band equalizer. Adjust the volume and tone of your audio, starting with a preset if you prefer. The equalizer covers 31 Hz to 16 kHz. Adjust individual bands or use the bass and treble knobs to move several together. Try Rock or Vocal and adjust from there. You can lower heavy bass without resetting the other bands. Play the built-in test sound to hear your changes as you make them. Profiles save your EQ curve together with the volume booster setting. Keep one for music and another for podcasts, then select the profile you want to apply. Custom profiles are stored on your device. For more control, Advanced Audio has input gain and a limiter to reduce peaks on supported devices. The stream mixer lets you adjust media volume separately from your ringtone. It also shows alarm, notification and system sound levels, though Android may restrict some changes. These controls set the phone's volume independently of the boost dial. Allow notifications to turn boost on or off and change its level in steps from the notification shade. Volume booster and equalizer results vary with the device, audio output and playback app. The ten on-screen bands are mapped to the EQ your phone supports; the dial percentage is a setting rather than a loudness measurement. Start at a low volume and reduce it if the sound distorts or feels uncomfortable.
