Korean welfare benefits matched to your age, region and household, plus alerts
Pick your age group, where you live in Korea and your household size, and the app pulls together the government and local welfare benefits that fit. The app and its program information are in Korean only. It is independent: it doesn't represent the Korean government or any public agency, and it isn't affiliated with or endorsed by one. Program information comes from Gov24 (www.gov.kr) and Bokjiro (www.bokjiro.go.kr), which publish it as open data through the Public Data Portal (www.data.go.kr). Custom alerts (맞춤 알림) tell you when a new program matches your profile and when applications open, and remind you 3 days and 1 day before a deadline. Alerts that come up between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m. are held until 9 a.m. After five alerts in a day, the rest wait in the in-app inbox. If one program matters more than the others, give it its own alerts. Once its application round is confirmed, you can turn on alerts for the opening day, for 7, 3 or 1 day before the deadline, and for corrections to key details. You also pick the hour they arrive. Your profile can also include circumstances such as disability, running a small business, being a university student or job seeker, pregnancy, or raising children alone. The app compares that profile with each program's eligibility text on your phone and marks programs as possibly eligible or needing a check. Programs with different conditions are hidden, and so are programs whose confirmed rounds have closed. Only your region is sent when the app fetches programs. Turning on custom alerts stores your region, age group, household and interest area on the server for matching. Circumstances like disability or illness stay on the phone. A match only means the published conditions line up with yours. You can search subsidies by name or keyword. Results narrow by category (housing, education, jobs, childcare, health and others), by region, and by source: Gov24, Bokjiro central or Bokjiro local. A program page breaks the notice into who it's for, how recipients are selected, what's offered and how to apply. It also links to the original notice and the agency's phone number. Amounts appear in the list itself, and one that hasn't been checked is labeled as the notice's figure. Saved programs are grouped by application status (upcoming, open, closed), and each can carry a note. The calendar tab shows confirmed application rounds for saved programs. On the home screen you'll see programs newly found in your region over the past two weeks. Saved programs and notes stay on your device. Dark mode and larger text are available. Browsing welfare benefits needs no sign-up. Your first alert creates an account tied to this device, and the app never asks for your name or phone number. Under More > Data management, you can ask for your alert settings and inbox to be deleted from the server. The agency running each program decides who qualifies and how much they get. You apply through that agency, not through this app. Notices get edited, and a change can take a while to show up here, so check the official page before you apply. If you're new to Korean welfare benefits and subsidies, try searching 청년 (young adults), 출산 (childbirth) or 월세 (monthly rent).
