PA System: Announcer Mic puts a public-address microphone on your phone. Play a short chime to get attention, then speak: your voice goes out live through the phone speaker, a Bluetooth speaker or a wired speaker, tuned for clear speech.
ANNOUNCEMENT CHIME, FREE
• A ding-dong Announcement chime button sits on the main screen and is free in this app
• Tap it before you speak so people look up and listen; it plays once and stops
• Clear voice is on from the start, trimming rumble and lifting speech so words carry across a room
• Feedback guard is on too, cutting the howl if the mic gets close to the speaker
BUILT FOR ANNOUNCING
• Hold-to-talk: the mic is live only while you press, so side conversations stay off the speaker
• Tap mode for longer talks, tours and briefings
• Gain from -6 to +24 dB, with input and output level meters
• Even out volume smooths raised voices and sudden noises
• Quick Settings tile for a one-tap start
• Keeps running with the screen off, with a notification and a Stop button
• Turns off, with a notice, if a phone call needs the mic
CONNECT A BIGGER SPEAKER
• Automatic, phone speaker, wired output (headphone jack or USB audio) or a Bluetooth speaker
• The app shows which device is playing
• Wired has the least delay; Bluetooth adds a short lag, so place the speaker a few metres away
PREMIUM
• Alert tones: Wail, Yelp and Hi-lo sirens and an Alarm beep
• Echo and reverb: Echo, Karaoke, Hall and Stadium
• Voice effects: Megaphone, Walkie-talkie, Robot and Alien
• Unlimited sessions (free sessions end after 10 minutes) and no ads
• Monthly, yearly with a 3-day free trial, or lifetime, paid through Google Play
Free users see ads. Watching a rewarded ad opens every Premium feature for 30 minutes.
WHERE IT WORKS
• Events, fairs, markets and sports days
• Classrooms, school assemblies and training rooms
• Shops and small venues: opening, closing and special offer announcements
• Tour groups, museum visits and walking tours
• Community halls, clubs and meetings
HOW TO ANNOUNCE
1. Connect your speaker and turn its volume down
2. Tap the Announcement chime
3. Hold the mic button and speak; let go to stop
4. Raise the gain until everyone can hear, keeping the phone away from the speaker
GOOD PRACTICE
Start quietly and turn up step by step. Keep loud speakers away from people's ears. Only use the app where people know an announcement is being made, never to listen in on others.
PRIVACY
Audio is processed on the phone in real time and is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere. We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand usage and fix crashes (switch them off in Settings). Ads in the free version use your device's advertising ID.
