Voice Amplifier makes a quiet voice louder. Speak at a normal, comfortable level and your phone plays your voice live through its own speaker, a Bluetooth speaker or a wired speaker, set up from the start for clear, strong speech.
READY FOR SPEECH FROM THE FIRST TAP
• Starts at a higher gain, so a soft voice carries further
• Clear voice is on: low rumble is trimmed and speech is lifted so words are easier to follow
• Feedback guard is on: if the speaker starts to howl, that tone is cut and the gain drops by 3 dB
• Even out volume keeps louder moments from jumping out while softer words stay audible
FOR PEOPLE WHO NEED TO BE HEARD
• Teachers and lecturers talking to a full class
• Presenters, trainers and meeting hosts
• Tour guides and group leaders outdoors
• Anyone with a naturally soft voice, or who would rather not raise it
EASY TO USE ALL DAY
• Tap the big button to go live, tap again to stop
• Or use hold-to-talk so only what you mean to say is amplified
• Gain slider from -6 to +24 dB, with level meters
• Quick Settings tile to start in one tap
• Works with the screen off, with a notification and a Stop button
• Stops automatically, with a notice, when a call needs the mic
CHOOSE THE OUTPUT
• Automatic, phone speaker, wired headphones or speaker, or Bluetooth
• See which device is playing right now
• A small Bluetooth speaker on a desk or a strap carries further than the phone alone; Bluetooth adds a short delay, so keep it a few steps away
PREMIUM
• Unlimited sessions: free sessions last 10 minutes
• Echo and reverb, voice effects (Megaphone, Walkie-talkie, Robot, Alien), sirens and chimes
• No ads
• Monthly, yearly with a 3-day free trial, or a lifetime purchase through Google Play
The free version shows ads. A rewarded ad unlocks all Premium features, including unlimited time, for 30 minutes.
PLEASE NOTE
Voice Amplifier is a sound amplification app for speaking to other people. It is not a hearing aid or a medical device, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat or make up for any hearing or voice condition.
SAFETY
Start with the volume low and raise it slowly. Keep the mic away from the speaker. Loud sound close to the ear can damage hearing. Don't use the app to listen in on others.
PRIVACY
Your voice is processed on the phone and played immediately; nothing is recorded, saved or uploaded. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics help us find and fix problems (you can switch them off in Settings), and ads in the free version use your advertising ID.
