One word, hidden once, in a sea of its own letters. Can you find it?
There is exactly one OWL on this page. The page has 1,564 letters, and every single one of them is an O, a W or an L. Find it.
One Word, Hidden Once
Every puzzle hides one word, exactly once, in a straight line: across, down or diagonal, forwards or backwards. Every other letter is one of the word's own letters (now and then a sneaky look-alike), so near misses are everywhere: OWW, LWO, OLW, OWO. Only the real word counts. Tap its first letter, then its last, or press, hold and draw across it.
The Moment You Find It
The highlighter swipes the word, the tiles jump off the page, and the camera pulls all the way out so the one word glows inside the whole wall of letters. Found among 1,564 letters in 2:41. It never gets old.
Pages Bigger Than Your Screen
Pinch to zoom and drag to look around. The little map in the corner shows where you are, and the trail tints every letter you have already read, so you never lose your place on a giant page.
Four Sizes to Earn
Pocket is 192 letters and words of four or five. Page is 432 letters. Poster is 884 letters, with three letter words joining in. Mural is 1,564 letters of three and four letter words, where the near misses never stop. Find ten words at one size and the next one opens.
A Daily Page for Everyone
One shared puzzle a day: everybody hunts the same picture, a gentle Pocket on Monday, a giant Mural at the weekend. Find it to keep your streak alive, then share a card with your time and your misses. It never gives away where the word was.
Fair, Every Time
Every page is checked before you see it: the word reads exactly once, and nowhere else, in any of the eight directions. A wrong guess is a miss, counted and never punished. When you are stuck, the magnifier dims half of the page where the word is not, and the fourth hint makes its first letter glow. You start with three hints; more come from short ads you choose to watch, or from hint packs in the store.
Ten Special Packs
Bells, stars and stockings for the holidays. Bats, ghosts and a very sneaky owl. Crowns and dragons, goats and fondue, urns and a dodo, lions under the big top, cactus and mules on a dusty trail: seven themed packs of 32 pages climb from Pocket to a 2,640 letter Colossal finale. Three extreme packs, Masquerade, Locksmith and Shoal, hide one more copy on every page: one on the first, thirty-two on the last, and every one must be found.
Endless pages, cheerful pictures, sixteen languages, and it all works offline.
Scova is free, funded by a full screen ad between some puzzles (never on the daily). Optional extras stay optional: ten special packs and hint packs, plus a free hint for every two short ads you choose to watch. No subscription, and no account to create.
