Who on the street did it? Every word is true. Prove it, no guessing ever.
Last night someone on Via dei Tigli pinched every pie off the windowsills. A whole street of neighbours, each one innocent or a culprit, and every single thing they say is true, even when a culprit says it. Your job is to prove who did it.
Prove It, Card by Card
The street is a cork board of neighbours, each one a portrait on a polaroid. One is already marked for you, and it has something to say: "I have exactly two culprit neighbours." Neighbours touch sideways and diagonally, so that sentence speaks about up to eight cards. Read it, work out a card the statements prove, and stamp it Innocent or Culprit. Every proven card speaks up with a new statement, and that one opens the next step.
No Guessing, Ever
The file checks every mark. A mark the statements do not prove yet is refused and counted as a mistake, even if it would have been right. That is the whole game: never a coin flip, always a reason. Every street is checked by the game before you see it, so there is always a next card you can prove, all the way to the last one.
A Daily Street
One new street every day, the same for everyone. Gentle on Monday, fiendish on Sunday with a Mastermind street of 25 neighbours. Keep your streak alive and share your result as a little grid of squares, never a spoiler.
Four Ranks to Earn
Rookie streets have twelve neighbours who talk about their neighbours and their rows. Detective adds directions and groups (the animals, the royals, the spooky folk). Inspector brings pairs, corners and the edge of the street. Chief adds comparisons and odd or even rows, and steps that need three statements at once. Solve ten cases at one rank and the next one opens.
Comfortable Sleuthing
Pencil notes on any open card, a list of every statement heard so far, tap a statement to light up every card it talks about, and a hint that points at one card you can prove and the statements that prove it. Hints come from short ads you choose to watch, or from hint packs in the store; no street ever needs one.
Ten Special Packs
A snowy lane, a spooky street, the royal mews, a mountain village, the museum quarter, circus row and a frontier town each climb from Rookie to a Mastermind finale. Three extreme packs are 32 Mastermind streets each: the masked canal, the Enigma Files and Storm Harbour. Every pack brings its own streets, mischiefs and neighbours.
Light-hearted by design: painted gnomes, swapped doormats, a gondola parked in a bakery. Nobody gets hurt.
Portrait play, hand-drawn characters, offline, sixteen languages.
Vicini is free, funded by a full screen ad between some cases. Optional extras stay optional: ten special packs and hint packs, plus a free hint for every two short ads you choose to watch. No subscription, and no account to create.
