Internet Speed Test: 5G & WiFi measures how fast your connection really is, in about half a minute, with no account and no sign-up. Run a test over mobile data (5G, LTE/4G) or WiFi and get clear results: - Download speed and upload speed in Mbps - Ping (latency) and jitter - Loaded latency and a bufferbloat grade, so you can see whether your connection stays responsive under heavy use (video calls, gaming, streaming) WHAT YOUR RESULT MEANS Each result gets a rating (Excellent, Good, Fair or Poor) and a short verdict, and shows whether the connection is good, limited or not suitable for video calls, HD streaming, 4K video and online gaming. Prefer MB/s to Mbps? Switch units in Settings. CONNECTION DETAILS See what you are connected to: mobile operator, network generation (5G, LTE, 3G) and WiFi link speed, next to every result. NETWORK INFORMATION A dedicated screen shows your connection status, public and local IP, WiFi network name, WiFi standard, frequency band and channel, signal strength in dBm with a quality bar, mobile operator, roaming, VPN and whether the connection is metered. Android shows WiFi name and cell details only if you allow location and phone state; nothing here is uploaded. CHOOSE YOUR SERVER Use automatic selection (Cloudflare network) or pick a nearby public test server. - Auto, the default, picks the nearest server for you - Regional servers (Pro) let you test against a specific city. They are run by an open research project that publishes test data, including your IP address, as open data, so the app asks you first ACCURATE AND DATA-AWARE Tests use parallel streams and discard the warm-up phase for more reliable numbers. Transfers are capped to limit data use, and the app warns you before testing on a metered connection. Results vary with time of day, server distance, WiFi signal and device load, which is normal. - A Data usage screen counts how much data this app's tests used this month and in total - Clear messages when a test is blocked: airplane mode, no connection, a hotel or cafe WiFi sign-in page or a timeout HISTORY AND COVERAGE MAP Every test is saved on your device so you can compare networks, places and times. Open the coverage map to see where your signal is strong or weak. - Filter by WiFi or mobile, open a result for details, share it as an image or delete it - The free version keeps your latest 20 results; Pro keeps them all - Coverage is off by default. Turn it on and each result remembers an approximate place (about 100 m), stored only on your device. Clear locations any time and keep the results QUICK ACCESS Start a test from a Quick Settings tile or by long-pressing the app icon. While a test runs, a notification shows progress with a Stop button. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account required. Your test history stays on your device. Reset local data wipes it all in one step. FREE WITH ADS, PRO OPTIONAL The app is free with ads. Pro removes ads and adds CSV export of your history, scheduled automatic tests and home-screen widgets. Plans: monthly, quarterly, yearly or lifetime.
