A more gradual Silicio rating with fractional points: ±4 for a puzzle matching your rating. Clearer gains, losses and history. Reference Elo is distinguished from your training rating. Existing accounts, ratings, progress and times are preserved. Your level changes only when you choose, and repeated puzzles never add or subtract rating points.
Chess endgame training: 10,414 puzzles, mistake review and custom tests.
Repetition deepens learning. Practice chess endgames with 10,414 puzzles across 7 themes and 3 levels. Chess Endgames by Ajedrez de Silicio turns your mistakes into new opportunities to learn. Return to your mistakes, try again and track your progress with mixed-theme tests. Choose pawn, rook, bishop, knight, queen, queen and rook, or mixed endgames. Each theme includes 500 puzzles per level, except Queen and Rook Endgames at High Level, with 414. Open any puzzle directly from its numbered map and continue where you left off. • Intermediate: reference playing strength 1000–1500. • Advanced: reference playing strength 1500–2000. • High Level: reference playing strength 2000–2500. Create a profile with your name and your FIDE, online or estimated rating. Your training rating changes with your first result on each puzzle. Repeating a puzzle never adds or removes points, so you can focus on learning from your mistakes. Your chosen level stays the same until you change it. Repeat puzzles you got wrong and create tests from your mistakes once you have five available. You can also create tests of new puzzles at your chosen level. Results update the corresponding theme index. Share a device with up to five local profiles. Record your solving times, improve your personal bests and review solutions move by move with chess notation and figurines. Drag pieces or tap squares, flip the board and turn sounds on or off. Training works offline. English or Spanish follows your device language. One payment to download, with no ads or in-app purchases. The exercises train concrete endgame sequences; they do not replace a full course in endgame theory. Levels are guidelines, and the Silicio rating is not an official FIDE equivalent. Profiles and progress stay on this device and do not sync. Intended for ages 13 and older.
