Stage plots, input lists and gear pull lists for live sound techs.
StageRider is a stage plot and input list tool for FOH and monitor techs. Put the band on stage, patch every channel and see what to pull from the gear locker, all on your phone. Organize your shows. Make a folder for a tour, a venue or a client, then add shows with a name and an optional venue and date. Rename, re-date or delete them any time. Build the band. Add pieces from a built-in catalog of drums, percussion, guitars, bass, keys and pianos, vocals, strings, brass, woodwinds and playback tracks, or type your own. Choose how each one is captured (pickup or mic'd, mono or stereo, how many outputs) and how many there are, and StageRider adds the channels to the input list. Define every piece. Split any instrument into the channels it really uses: name each piece (Kick, Snare Top, Amp mic), choose mic or DI, pick the mic or DI from your own locker or type the model, and set stand or clip-on and the XLR length. Input list. Every channel in order with its mic or DI, stand, XLR length, sub snake channel, patch and FOH board channel. A channel used twice is flagged in red, and the list counts inputs, mics and DIs. Stage plot. Every piece waits in a tray: drag it onto the stage, or tap to place it centre stage and drag from there. Send a piece back to the tray when the plan changes. Pull list. StageRider totals the mics, DI boxes, cables and stands the show needs and checks them against what you own: OK when you have enough, SHORT with the number missing when you don't. Each line shows where that gear lives, and you tick lines off as you pack. Inventory. Keep your locker in eight disciplines: Audio, Coms, Lighting, Networking, Power, Video, Rigging and Staging, each with its own sub-categories. Record the name, manufacturer, model, how many you own, cable length, locker or warehouse number, aisle and shelf (rename those two levels in Settings), and a serial number and barcode for each unit. Network switches get a port-by-port layout: device, VLAN, PoE and notes. Share the rider. Export the stage plot, input list and pull list as one PDF, or just the screen you are on, through Android's share sheet. Light, dark or system theme, and optional haptic feedback. No account and no sign-in: your shows and gear are kept on your phone and never sent to us. StageRider is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
