Dead pixel test, touch screen test and burn-in check for any phone screen.
Screen Test: Dead Pixel Check is a quick dead pixel test and screen test for your phone. Run full-screen tests to spot dead or stuck pixels, check touch response with a grid, and test multi-touch with several fingers at once. It also works as a used phone check before you buy. All features are free, supported by ads: • Color test: full-screen white, black, red, green, blue, yellow, cyan and magenta to reveal dead and stuck pixels. The screen stays on during the test. • Touch screen test: fill every cell of the full-screen grid by dragging your finger, to find areas that do not respond. • Multi-touch test: see how many fingers the screen detects at the same time. • Burn-in test: gradient and gray-level tests to check for screen burn-in, banding and uneven brightness. • Custom color: test any color you choose. • Stuck pixel fixer: cycles bright colors across the screen, a method some people use to try to recover stuck pixels. It shows a photosensitivity warning that you must accept before it starts. • Used phone check: run the tests in sequence, mark pass or problem with a note, get a report to share and keep the history on your device. Who it is for: • Checking a used or new phone before you buy it • Finding dead pixels, stuck pixels and OLED burn-in • Finding dead touch zones after a drop or a screen repair • Repair shops checking a display before and after a repair Frequently asked questions How do I test for dead pixels? Open the color test and tap through the colors. A dead pixel stays dark on every color; a stuck pixel stays lit in one color. Can the app fix dead pixels? Dead pixels are hardware faults and cannot be fixed by software. The stuck pixel fixer may help with some stuck pixels. Is anything uploaded? No. The app does not request camera, microphone, location or contacts permission. Test history and reports stay on your device. Which languages? English, Turkish, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, French, Arabic, Ukrainian, Russian and Chinese. Change the language in Settings. The home screen shows a small banner ad. Ads are never shown during full-screen tests. An occasional full-screen ad may appear when you return to the home screen after a test.
