Know who you're paying — before the money moves. VendorAI is a pre-payment due-diligence tool for bookkeepers, controllers, and small accounts-payable teams. Before you cut a check or push a wire to a vendor you haven't worked with before, VendorAI checks the public record and hands you a plain-English risk score backed by real, cited sources. WHY VENDORAI Invoice fraud and fake-vendor scams usually leave a trail: a company with no real registration, a website that's three weeks old, an address that's actually a mail-drop, bank details that changed since the last invoice. Catching that trail by hand means a dozen browser tabs and twenty minutes per vendor. VendorAI runs the same checks automatically and gives you a score you can act on in seconds. HOW IT WORKS 1. Enter what you already have — a company name plus an address, website, email, phone, or tax ID. Or paste it from an email, or scan an invoice. 2. Choose Quick (4 checks) for a fast first look, or Full (11 checks) before money actually moves. 3. Get a 0–100 risk score in one of six plain-English bands — from "Low concern" to "High-risk indicators" — with the specific evidence listed underneath it, each item showing its source, date, and confidence level. 4. Decide. VendorAI never auto-approves or auto-rejects anything — every status change is a human decision, always. Every vendor record, document, and piece of evidence is stored in an encrypted database on your device. VendorAI runs on your own AI provider API key (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Groq, or Mistral) — your subscription pays for the app, and your AI usage is billed directly by the provider you choose. Export your data any time, or wipe it completely.
