Save river stations to Gauges and see whether they are Rising, Falling or Steady, with 7-day observations. Log a trip as Too low, Good or Too high; after three Good trips at one station, Your good-trip range appears on that gauge.
River levels and flow with source times, hourly trends and trips by gauge.
River levels with the source, station ID and observation time beside each reading, plus a plain-language view of rises, falls and daily ranges. ▶ KNOW THE SOURCE • See the agency, station ID, observation time and elapsed minutes beside each reading. • Check the raw provider value and unit, measurement reference and Provisional or quality status. • Open the provider station page and data attribution from the gauge detail. • Gauges keeps cached readings between visits and labels older values Last known reading. ▶ READ THE RISE OR FALL • Read Rising, Falling or Steady, with a rate per hour from the last 3 hours when enough observations are available. • See the 24-hour minimum and maximum alongside the current reading. • At supported US gauges, compare the level with agency stages when the station and vertical reference match. • Inspect a 7-day observation chart; breaks show missing samples. ▶ KEEP TRIPS BY GAUGE • Log a trip with its time, a Too low, Good or Too high rating, and a note. • The nearest observation for that gauge and parameter within 60 minutes becomes the trip reading. Add a manual reading when needed; it is marked Entered by you. • Filter Trips by station, edit ratings and notes, or undo a deletion. • With at least 3 matching Good-rated trip readings, see your good-trip range on the chart and gauge. ▶ SET YOUR CROSSING • Set an alert for Crosses above, Crosses below or Enters your good-trip range. • Choose a threshold, Re-arm distance and station-local Quiet hours. • Alerts use standard notifications and periodic checks; battery saving can delay checks. ▶ FIND AND KEEP YOUR GAUGES • Search by river, station name or station ID in the US, England, Germany and France, and save gauges for later. • Choose Level or Flow and display m / ft or m³/s / cfs. • Map provides an outline overview with selectable station dots. • Export backup as a JSON manifest and numbered parts; restore needs the complete set. ▶ GOOD TO KNOW • Source availability varies. Missing readings or observations older than 3 hours show No recent data in the station detail. • Stage comparisons need matching reference metadata and are not available at every gauge. • A trip can have Reading unavailable. Your good-trip range is not a safety guide. This is not a warning service; check local authorities. • Location for Nearby stations is optional. Notifications need permission. • Backups are created in app storage before sharing; copies saved elsewhere stay where you put them.
