Meal photo diary. Minimal and offline. Log meals by photo. No account.
MinimalFoodLog is a simple, offline app for keeping a photo record of your meals.
Take a photo of what you eat, and it is saved to a day-by-day list. Each day shows its photos in the order they were taken, so you can look back over what you ate without typing anything.
The app is built to stay minimal and private:
Offline: it works without an internet connection and does not use the internet permission.
No account: there is no sign-up or login.
No data collection: your photos and their dates stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and there are no ads or trackers.
On-device storage: photos are kept in the app's private storage and are encrypted on the device.
How it works
Take a meal photo with one tap.
Browse your history as a vertical list of days, with each day's photos arranged left to right by time.
Open a photo to view it, or delete it when you no longer need it.
Export
You can export your photos together with their dates as a single file (a ZIP containing the images and a manifest in JSON and CSV). The exported file is yours to keep, back up, or use with other tools. Because the app stores data only on your device, exporting is also how you make your own backup.
Support (optional)
The app is free, with no ads and no subscription. If you find it useful, you can make an optional one-time in-app purchase to support its development. It is optional and does not unlock extra features.
What it is not
It does not count calories or track nutrition.
It does not provide medical, health, or dietary advice, and it is not a medical device.
It does not ask for your location, and photos are saved without location data.
Permissions
Camera: used only to take meal photos.
MinimalFoodLog is for anyone who wants a plain, private way to remember their meals with photos — without accounts, ads, or data collection.
