Most "photo recovery" apps promise to bring back pictures you deleted months ago. That promise is not real: on a phone without root access no app can read the raw storage chip, and modern encryption would make the leftovers unreadable anyway. This app does only what Android genuinely allows — and it tells you plainly where the limits are.
♻️ RESTORE FROM THE SYSTEM TRASH (ANDROID 11+)
• Photos and videos that any app moved to the trash are still fully recoverable
• One tap puts them back in their original folder, at original quality — the real file, not a copy
• A countdown shows how many days each item has left before Android erases it for good
• Sort by "expiring soonest" so you rescue the urgent ones first
• Optional reminder before items expire, plus a home-screen widget
🗑 RECYCLE BIN FOR YOUR OWN DELETES
• Anything you delete through this app is kept for 7, 15 or 30 days — your choice
• Restore in one tap, or empty the bin whenever you want the space back
• The recycle bin your phone never shipped with
🛡 PROTECTION VAULT — THE ONLY METHOD THAT ALWAYS WORKS
• Keep private copies of the photos and videos you cannot afford to lose
• Copies live in this app's private storage, where other apps cannot delete them
• "Check originals" tells you which protected files have since disappeared from your phone
• Lock the vault with your fingerprint, face or screen lock
• Recovery after the fact is a gamble. Keeping a copy beforehand is not.
📸 SAFETY NET FOR NEW PHOTOS AND VIDEOS
• When on, keeps a short-term copy of new photos and videos
• If an original disappears, you are notified and can put the copy back
• You choose how long copies are kept and a storage limit
• It only protects what arrives after you turn it on
🔎 FOLDER SCAN WITH HONEST LABELS
• Pick any folder — thumbnail caches, camera folders, LOST.DIR — and see what is in it
• Every result is checked against your library and labelled: already in your library, not in your library, or likely just a thumbnail
• Filter to show only what is genuinely missing, by file type or minimum size
• Damaged or truncated files are flagged before you copy them
• Photos still present on the device are not listed as "found".
📱 OTHER TRASH BINS ON YOUR PHONE
Gallery and cloud apps such as Google Photos keep their own trash. The app shows which ones you have and opens them for you.
🔥 THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION — MAKE A FILE HARD TO GET BACK
• Pick files, overwrite them with zeros, then delete them — no copy kept, no undo
• "Clean free space" fills the empty space with zeros so older leftovers stop being readable
• One overwrite pass, not seven: on flash memory the extra passes wear the chip and add nothing
• Others promise the file "can never be recovered again". This app explains why nobody can promise that, and tells you exactly which files it could not overwrite
💯 WHAT NO APP CAN DO — INCLUDING THIS ONE
• Recover a file permanently deleted before the app was installed
• Undo a deletion that skipped the trash entirely
• Bring back deleted contacts, messages or call logs
• Reach the Google Photos cloud trash, which lives on Google's servers
The app has a screen dedicated to explaining exactly this, in plain language.
🔒 YOUR FILES STAY ON YOUR PHONE
• Scanning and recovery run entirely on this device
• File contents, file names and folder paths never leave it
• Network permission is used for one thing only: crash reports and anonymous usage counts — OFF by default, you switch it on in Settings if you want to help
• No ads and no account
• Recovering files is always free; an optional one-time Pro purchase only lifts the vault's 100-item limit
📲 THREE STEPS
1. Read the "what recovery can really do" screen
2. Restore whatever is in the system trash, before it expires
3. Protect the files that matter, so next time there is nothing to recover
📂 SUPPORTED FILES
