Run a law firm: juggle hearings, settle or go to court and grow your practice.
Nine o'clock in Calderport. Two clients are already waiting at the reception desk, a filing is due tomorrow and the courthouse across the street just set two hearings for the same morning. You have one partner. Welcome to Docket Day. Docket Day is a law firm management game about time. Nobody waits for timers here: your job is to fit people's working hours into a ten-day calendar that keeps colliding with itself, then decide which cases to settle and which to fight in court. RUN THE FRONT DESK - Clients walk in with everyday problems: traffic tickets, tenancy disputes, small claims, family matters and contracts. - Every case card shows the fee (hourly, retainer or contingency), the deadlines, the judge and how hard it looks. - Accept, decline or refer. Spot a conflict of interest before it bites, or build an ethical wall to take the case anyway. FILL THE DOCKET RAIL - Drag your partner, associates, paralegals and interns onto filings, evidence and prep on the Docket Rail. - Partners have few hours and win hearings. Interns have many hours and run errands. Paralegals are the fastest at filings. - Watch the amber clock: a missed filing costs a sanction and a little reputation. HANDLE THE CHAOS - Two hearings, one lawyer: cover with someone else, call in visiting counsel or ask for a continuance. - Surprise motions land overnight, the power goes out and the printers stop, someone calls in sick, a substitute judge takes your hearing. - Four judges with their own habits: one loves a settlement, one is strict on deadlines, one has a soft spot for small claimants and one is tired on Fridays. Their habits are on the card, so you plan instead of guessing. SETTLE OR GO TO COURT - Match each claim with the exhibit that proves it at the prep table to raise your odds. - Take the safe settlement, or walk into the courtroom and watch your prep decide the verdict. Tap "Objection!" at the right moment if you like (you can turn it off). - Lost a case? You still earn a small lesson fee and learn what to prepare next time. BILL, BUILD AND GROW - End each day with the billing run: hours become invoices, and up to three stars for deadlines, clients and billing. - Client money stays in the trust account and is never yours to spend. Only your fees reach the firm's account. - Build a library, a coffee corner, a document room, an evidence room, a conference room and a war room. Hire receptionists, investigators and a court clerk. - Raise your Standing and move from The Garage Front to the Main Street Suite and then to Courthouse Row. - Set standing instructions and the firm keeps taking small cases with no conflicts while you are away. A welcome-back card shows what it earned. GOOD TO KNOW - Single-player. No account and no sign-in. Your firm is saved on your device. - Calderport and everyone in it are made up. Legal flavour only, not legal advice. - A step-by-step guide shows each action the first time, and you can replay it from Settings. - Choose Low, Medium or High graphics to suit your phone. - The game contains ads and optional in-app purchases: one-time upgrades, office looks, outfits, courtroom themes and operating cash packs. Nothing is needed to finish the game. - Ads show our other games in a banner and between days. Remove Ads, the Managing Partner Edition, the Partner's Pass and the Complete Docket Collection remove them. Other purchases do not remove ads. - Reward videos are always optional. With ad removal you get the same capped rewards without a video. - Operating cash packs are used up and are not restored on a new device. - Ten languages: English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Hindi. If you like lawyer games, courtroom drama and office management, open the doors of your own law firm and make every docket day count. Privacy Policy: https://www.coddykit.com/pages/privacy-policy
