pH, KH, GH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and six more parameters are logged per tank; Tanks shows the latest readings. In Log, tap a chart point for its value, date and notes, or compare a second parameter. Water-change estimate works out nitrate after mixing in source water.
Aquarium water test log with verified backups and readable comparison charts.
Keep aquarium water tests in an aquarium log with a test history for each tank, verified backup files and charts that let you inspect the readings behind a trend. ▶ KEEP YOUR TEST HISTORY AND BACKUPS • Record repeat water tests for multiple tanks, with the date, time, units and notes kept with each test. • Write verified backup creates an archive with a manifest and checked data parts, reads the files back before offering it for sharing and keeps your three most recent backups. • Choose backup opens a Restore preview before you merge anything. See how many entries and previous deletions it holds; missing parts are named and an incomplete backup cannot be merged. • Merge this backup keeps newer records and remembers previous deletions, so an older backup does not bring deleted records back. ▶ READ THE VALUES BEHIND THE CHART • Open Log, choose a parameter and tap a chart point to see its recorded value, date and notes. • Compare a second parameter across the same dates. Each series has its own numeric scale; historical units and ammonia bases stay separate. • Target ranges appear as bands when units match. Records below the chart lists tests, water changes, fishless cycle checks and completed tasks by date; delete a mistaken water change or check after confirming. ▶ A DASHBOARD FOR EACH TANK • Switch between named tanks in Tanks and see the latest readings beside the aquarium illustration and test-tube gauges. • Log pH, KH, GH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, calcium, magnesium, salinity, temperature and TDS. Parameters with targets or recent readings come first; More parameters shows the rest. Leave unmeasured values blank. • Set the test time with Now, Yesterday or Choose date. Values are shown rounded to readable decimals for each parameter, and switching units converts from your original entry. • Edit Target ranges and Your kit steps to match the numeric steps on your own kit chart. ▶ PLAN ROUTINE CARE • Add care tasks with a due date and a repeat interval. Mark a task Done to keep its completion record and move its next due date forward. • Enable local reminders for the tasks you choose. If notification permission is denied, the task is saved without a reminder. • Water-change estimate fills in the tank’s latest nitrate reading and uses the percentage changed and replacement concentration; Record water change adds it to Records. Label dose calculator uses the label amount, label water volume and volume actually treated. ▶ GOOD TO KNOW • Readings come from manual numeric entry using your own test kit. • Records are stored on your device. Backup sharing opens the device share sheet; restoring requires a backup you select. • Salinity readings retain their entered ppt or SG units and instrument details. • Target presets are editable starting guides, not species-specific care advice. Water-change estimates use mixing arithmetic and do not predict pH or buffer effects. • Replacement concentration starts at zero: enter your source-water measurement when known.
