Watch your own movement a few seconds late: the Coach tab shows the camera with a 0.5 to 30 second delay, live and delayed side by side. Pause & replay lets you scrub frame by frame and draw lines or angles. Save clip keeps the last few seconds in Clips.
Video delay camera for sports: instant replay, slow motion and angle lines
Video delay camera for practice: Replay Mirror shows what the camera saw a few seconds ago. Do your swing, jump or routine, then look at the screen and watch it play back — nobody has to hold the phone and nothing has to be pressed. ▶ HOW IT WORKS • Set the delay anywhere from 0.5 to 30 seconds in half-second steps, with the slider or the + and − buttons. • See the live and the delayed view side by side, or the delayed view on its own, larger. • A countdown ring on the delayed view shows when the next delay window starts. Turn on the tick sound to hear it without looking. • The screen stays on while the camera runs. • Back or front camera. Mirror the picture if that is easier to follow — saved clips are never mirrored. ▶ PAUSE AND REPLAY • Pause to hold the stretch the delayed view just showed: as long as your delay, up to 10 seconds. • Scrub through it, step one frame at a time, or play it again at 0.25×, 0.5× or 1×, on a loop if you like. • The camera keeps running while you review. Tap Back to live and the delayed view carries on. ▶ DRAW ON THE FRAME • Add lines, angles and circles over the paused frame and drag their handles into place. • Lines show their tilt from horizontal, angles show their degrees. Up to 8 shapes at a time. • Handy for checking a knee bend, a club shaft, a back angle or a take-off. ▶ SAVE AND SHARE CLIPS • Save the last few seconds or the whole paused stretch as an MP4 video clip. • If you allow it, clips are added to your photo gallery. The app only adds — it never reads or changes your other photos and videos. • Every clip is listed in the app with a thumbnail, its length, picture size and frame rate. Share it or delete it from there; a copy already in your gallery stays. • Up to 300 clips. The clip list is backed up once a day (the newest 3 are kept) and can be restored. ▶ FOR ANY PRACTICE • Golf, tennis or baseball swings, gymnastics, dance, martial arts, lifting form, jumps and throws. • Stand the phone on a tripod or lean it against something, step back and train. • The frame rate the camera really delivers is measured and shown, together with the picture size and the memory the delay uses. ▶ GOOD TO KNOW • Video only: the microphone is never used, so the delayed view and saved clips have no sound. • The picture size is picked automatically to fit your phone's memory. Short delays can run at 720p; longer delays drop to 480p or 360p. If a delay does not fit in the memory available, the app tells you the longest one that does. • Angles are measured on the flat screen image; camera perspective is not corrected. • The camera runs only while the Coach tab is open. Frames are kept in memory for your delay and then discarded; nothing is recorded unless you save a clip. • There is no video player inside the app — watch saved clips in your gallery or share them. • Portrait only. • No account, no sign-in. Settings and the clip list stay on this device. • Ads appear on the Clips screen and sometimes after you save a clip — never while the camera is running.
