Wine cellar inventory: custom racks, spirits and bottle sizes with your windows
Wine cellar inventory with a rack plan that fits your storage and separate bottle lots for each drink kind and size. Build your racks, find a bottle's position, and enter the drinking years you want to track for each lot. ▶ BUILD YOUR RACK, FIND YOUR BOTTLE • Set layers and positions per layer for each rack or fridge. Choose Grid, Diamond or Bin layouts, and add zones with temperature notes. • Add a layer or remove the last layer as your storage changes. Bottles from removed positions move to Unplaced. • Drag a bottle into a position or select it and tap a position. Moving onto an occupied position swaps the bottles. • Use Find its position from a bottle's details to highlight its place in the rack plan. ▶ YOUR LABELS, YOUR SIZES, YOUR WINDOWS • Enter a label manually, including bottles absent from a wine database. Record wine, spirits, sake, beer and cider with details suited to the drink kind. • Keep different sizes as separate lots: 375 ml, 750 ml, 1500 ml or another positive size you enter. Each physical bottle has its own position or stays Unplaced. • Give each lot its own From year and Through year, or leave its Drink window blank. A magnum and a smaller bottle can have different years you choose. • Add producer, country, region, appellation and details. Choose from curated wine-region suggestions for 16 countries or type your own region. ▶ REVIEW YOUR DRINK WINDOW • Browse In window, Too young, Past window and No window using the current year and your entered dates. • For wine with a vintage, Show wine suggestion offers a broad style guide. Use these years applies it after you accept. ▶ KEEP AN OPENING RECORD • Open a bottle records the date, occasion, tasting note and an optional score from 0 to 100. Recording an opening removes that physical bottle from inventory and releases its position. • Restock adds bottles to an existing lot; new bottles start Unplaced. Remove without drinking takes one bottle out as a gift, broken, sold or other, with no tasting record. • Cellar record shows remaining bottles, Opened this year, Opening history and Recorded purchase cost by currency. Enter manual exchange rates for a home currency total. • Find a label or region in Bottles; the search also checks producer names. Sort by name, vintage, window start or recently added. Add an optional label photo from the camera or photo library. ▶ KEEP YOUR RECORDS • Create multipart backup exports your records and available label photos as a manifest and JSON parts; import them to merge with your cellar. ▶ GOOD TO KNOW • Drink windows are your entered years, not predictions of maturity. The style guide does not adjust for bottle size and has no suggestion for fortified wine or other drink kinds. • Recorded purchase cost uses the amounts you enter. A home currency total is incomplete when a needed exchange rate is missing. • Keep the backup manifest and every part together; each file is limited to 5 MiB. Missing photo assets are reported. Deleted records stay deleted when backups merge. • Camera access is needed to take a label photo. Monthly window reminder is optional and needs notification permission; it opens the current list. • Intended for adult inventory and neutral tasting records.
