Build your newborn checklist with illustrated items, short practical notes and a preparation plan you can rearrange around your due date. Baby Prep helps you decide what to prepare, when to prepare it and what remains to buy. ▶ SEE EACH ITEM UP CLOSE • Browse 183 illustrated suggestions. Tap an item for a larger drawing and a short practical note on choosing or using it. • Treat the list as a starting point: change target quantities, skip items that do not suit your household and add your own items. • Choose climate, birth season and feeding plan to adjust suggested quantities. Clothing includes newborn, 0–3 month and 3–6 month sizes. ▶ ARRANGE YOUR PLAN, WEEK BY WEEK • Create and rename categories and subcategories, then move items into the groups that make sense to you. • Set your due date and open This week for the countdown, week ribbon and outstanding items, including earlier items still needed. • Coming up lists up to six of the nearest items still to prepare, so This week stays useful before anything is due. • Edit each item's Needed by week and see its suggested calendar date. Look ahead on the ribbon as your preparation changes. ▶ KNOW WHAT IS STILL NEEDED • Record quantities as Bought, Gifted or Borrowed, with New or Second-hand condition recorded separately. • Partial purchases and gifts reduce the quantity still needed; you can remove a received entry if it changes. • Tap Got it on a row in This week or All items to record one unit as Bought and New in a single step. Add the amount paid later with Edit under Received entries. • Enter planned prices per item and paid amounts. Budget shows Original estimate, Remaining estimate and Actual expenditure, with category totals that include subcategories. • Save a Gift list of quantities still needed as text, PDF or an image, then share the saved file. Available export formats depend on the device's installed capabilities. ▶ KEEP A COPY OF YOUR PREPARATION • Save a multipart backup with its manifest, then import the complete set to preview and merge it. • Exchange backup files manually with a partner working from the same plan. Newer whole-item edits win; review received entries after an exchange. • Enable optional Weekly preparation reminders with notification permission. Planning remains usable if permission is denied. ▶ GOOD TO KNOW • One preparation plan per installation. Existing populated plans cannot merge a different plan. • One selected currency per plan, without conversion. Currency cannot change while a planned or paid amount exists. • The week ribbon covers weeks 20–40; item deadlines can be set from week 1 to 40. Weekly reminders stop at week 40. • Backups contain structured plan data, not photo attachments; import needs every part and the manifest. • Plan data is saved in the app. Exports and backups are created in the app and kept in Saved files until you delete them; copies you share or save elsewhere remain where you put them. • Suggestions and quantities are editable shopping guidance for adult parents and carers, not medical advice.
