Tattoo Stencil Maker: Print turns your existing photo into tattoo-transfer linework and a printable PDF or PNG. Import a reference you own or may use, retouch the lines, set the physical size and prepare pages for your print workflow. Projects and edits stay on your device.
FROM PHOTO TO STENCIL
Start with a photo from your library or an image from Files. Supported file imports include JPEG, PNG, HEIC and WebP. Crop the reference to the area you want to work on, then compare outline, balanced and shading treatments. Use an existing drawing, lettering or a client-approved reference as your starting point instead of searching a catalog of tattoo designs.
CONTROL THE LINEWORK
Different source images need different treatment. Adjust threshold, detail, line weight, smoothing, contrast and cleanup to separate useful edges from background noise. Review the result before moving on, and use the retouch workspace to clean up distracting marks. Brush size and strength controls help you make focused changes; undo and redo let you compare an edit with the previous result.
The conversion gives you a starting point you can refine. A low-contrast photograph and a clean drawing will produce different results, so inspect the lines and make the changes your project needs. This is a practical image-preparation workspace for your references, with local processing and editable results.
PLAN THE PHYSICAL SIZE
Set the intended dimensions in inches or centimeters and choose US Letter or A4 paper. Page geometry is prepared at 300 DPI, with tiled pages and crop marks when the stencil spans more than one sheet. Check the page arrangement before export so you can see how a larger design will be divided for printing and assembly.
Keep the reference, cleaned linework and intended size together in a project. This makes it easier to return to a design, adjust a dimension or revisit an earlier preparation step without starting again from an unrelated image. For repeated work, compare the preview with the intended output and check the dimensions before making the final transfer.
EXPORT, SHARE AND PRINT
Create PNG or PDF output from the prepared stencil. Save PNG files to Photos, send files through the system share sheet, or open the system print sheet on your Android device. Choose the output that suits the next step in your existing studio workflow, whether you need an image file, a printable document or a tiled page set.
Printing uses the services and printers available through your device. The app does not provide a dedicated connection to every thermal printer or promise that every printer keeps a file at the requested scale. Use the calibration workflow, check a test print and confirm the final dimensions with your own equipment. The measured file and page preview help you prepare the job; the printer and its settings still determine the physical output.
A WORKSPACE YOU CAN RETURN TO
Try the guided demo to understand the import, linework, sizing and output steps, then make a project from your own reference. Local projects retain the source and editing work so you can come back to an unfinished stencil, make a correction and export it again. There is no account to create and no remote image-generation service involved.
Interface catalogs cover English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Hindi, Thai, Vietnamese and Swedish. Some import and demo prompts remain in English. Store descriptions in other languages do not add those languages to the interface.
Use the app to prepare linework from authorized images. It does not supply a tattoo-design library, generate new designs from text prompts, preview a tattoo on a body or capture new camera photos. It also does not teach tattoo application. Keep your own judgment over image rights, line quality, transfer preparation and the final result.
