Log learning time, count attendance days and create parent-authored PDF records.

Homeschool Hours & Attendance helps parents record learning time, count learning days and create personal homeschool records. Core work screens and report headings are in English; some introductory screens are translated. Record completed learning in your own words, with time allocated to each participating learner.
LOG TODAY'S LEARNING
Add an activity title and its elapsed minutes, choose the participating learners and assign counted time to subjects. New activities use today's local date. Use the timeline and date filters to review what you have recorded. Learner display names and subjects keep the records readable without requiring a school account.
COUNT SHARED TIME CLEARLY
A shared activity happens once for the family while each learner can receive credit for participating. For example, a 90-minute museum visit can count as one family activity and up to 90 minutes for each learner who took part. It does not become a 180-minute family activity just because two learners joined.
For each learner, counted subject minutes cannot exceed the activity's elapsed time. Split those minutes among subjects as appropriate. Secondary tags can describe other subjects without adding more counted minutes. Review longer entries before saving so that a typing mistake is easier to catch.
SEE LEARNING DAYS AND TIME
Review the family activity total alongside each learner's counted minutes and learning days. A learning day is a recorded date with positive counted learning time for that learner. These are totals from the entries you supply, not automatic attendance detection or an assessment of required school hours.
KEEP CORRECTIONS IN THE RECORD
Correct a recorded duration when needed. Changes append a revision while earlier values remain in the history. If an activity has already appeared in a packet, a later correction requires a reason. Deleting an activity retains a deletion record; restoring it adds another revision. Device-recorded times describe the app's history and are not independent proof of when learning occurred.
CREATE A PERSONAL RECORD PACKET
Choose a date range and learners, then create a numbered packet tied to the activity revisions included at that point. Later activity corrections do not replace those included activity values. Export a PDF with the family summary, learner days and counted time, chronological activities, correction history and a signature/date line for your own records.
Compare the two most recently stored packets in the app to see activity changes and learner time/day differences. Packet exports use current learner names, so renaming a learner can change the name shown when an older packet is exported again.
BACK UP YOUR LEARNING RECORDS
Save a complete JSON backup containing learners, subjects, activity revisions, packet snapshots and settings. Inspect an imported backup and its record counts before confirming replacement. The backup is a readable, unencrypted file; keep a copy somewhere you trust. Raw JSON and CSV exports are also available for working with the underlying records. The CSV contains record types and JSON payloads rather than a ready-made attendance spreadsheet.
Learning records are stored locally. Files you choose to export or share leave that local storage, and purchase services operate separately. There is no automatic cloud sync. Archiving a learner or subject preserves its historical references; deleting all learning records requires confirmation.
PARENT-AUTHORED RECORDS
This app is for adults recording learning, not for children to use as a lesson app. It does not teach a curriculum, assign grades, prepare certified transcripts or decide whether your records meet a jurisdiction's requirements.
Personal record, not an official filing or compliance determination. There is no guarantee that a school or authority will accept an exported packet. You choose what to record, verify its accuracy and decide how to use the resulting documents.
