A month ends and two people remember the same hours differently. Yours are in your head, theirs are in theirs, and the one without proof is the one who loses. This app takes the remembering out of it: every shift is stamped the moment it happens, and the family signs the page that adds them up.
It is for the caregiver a family hires and pays directly. Elder care and companion care, respite, private duty, a nanny, housekeeping, a personal care assistant, a home health aide, a direct care worker, a family member paid for the hours.
WHEN YOU WALK IN
Today lists the families you work for. Tap one and the shift starts where you stand, running as a counter instead of a number you rebuild on Sunday night. A notification carries a live timer and a Clock out button while it runs, and a home screen widget clocks in and out too, showing the family name and the hours so far.
OVERNIGHTS AND HOLIDAYS, PRICED THE WAY YOU AGREED
Mark the sleep-in window on an overnight and those hours come off the paid hours. A family can be set to a flat amount per night instead, and the sheet counts the nights. Holiday hours are the days you ticked yourself: no country's holiday list ships with this app, because which days carry a holiday rate is part of what you agreed.
MILES, AND MONEY YOU LAID OUT
Log each drive by hand: where from, where to, the distance and what it was for. It goes on that family's timesheet at the mileage rate you agreed with them.
THE SIGNATURE IS THE POINT
At the end of a pay period, hand the phone across. Hand-off mode shows that one timesheet and refuses to leave the screen without your PIN, so your other families, your rates and your settings are not on the phone they hold. They sign on the glass, type their name and how they are related, and the moment they signed prints beside it.
AFTER THE SIGNATURE, THE FIGURES STOP MOVING
Every shift, drive and item inside a signed period refuses to be edited. A correction is a new sheet that points back at the signed one, so nothing is quietly rewritten behind a signature. The page marks a shift typed in afterwards, one whose times were corrected, a device clock that changed and a phone that restarted, then prints the rules it used.
WHAT LEAVES THE PHONE
A one page PDF: every shift, the hours, the distance, what you laid out, the total due and both signatures, with the receipt photographs behind it. A record and a client invoice in one document. There is also a year summary family by family, a CSV export, and a backup locked with a passphrase you choose and the app never keeps. Log what a family has paid and Today holds a list of the sheets still owed.
NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER, NO ADVERTS
Nothing to sign into. Your hours, drives, receipt photos and signatures are written to this phone and stay on it; the only thing the app reaches out to is Google Play, to ask what you have bought. No adverts at any level: a family is handed this phone to sign on, and a banner under a signature makes the page look like something to doubt.
WHAT THIS APP IS NOT
It is not an agency system and not an Electronic Visit Verification system. If your visits are billed to Medicaid through an agency, the EVV app they issued you is the one that counts, and this does not stand in for it. This is the private arrangement: your hours, your mileage, your money, signed by the family who pays you. It holds nothing medical and is not tax advice.
Currency, miles or kilometres, week start, date order and a 12 or 24 hour clock are yours to set. Reminders can say you are still clocked in, that a pay period closes today, or that a week has gone since your last backup.
Not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency. Not a medical device and not medical advice.
