Price the job while you are still standing in it.
An estimate builder for landscaping and lawn care crews. Measure the beds, price every line off your own list, let the customer pick what stays, and take the signature before you get back in the truck. Every page of the PDF is drawn on this handset, so a back yard with no bars costs you nothing.
THE TAPE MEASURE IS IN YOUR POCKET
Rectangle, triangle, circle or trapezoid: type two numbers and the area is there. Already know the square footage? Type it. Odd-shaped bed? Hold the phone and walk the edge of it: the outline plots as you go and the area arrives with a plus-or-minus band read off the GPS accuracy, printed as an estimate-grade measurement, not a survey.
SQUARE FEET GO IN, CUBIC YARDS COME OUT
Give it the area and the depth you are laying and the material calculator returns cubic yards of mulch, topsoil, compost or gravel, linear feet of edging and a plant count. It prints the multiplication underneath, so when the customer asks where a number came from you turn the phone around. Sod and paver waste come off percentages you set.
SEVEN SECTIONS, SEVEN SUBTOTALS
Bed Preparation, Planting, Hardscape, Lawn, Irrigation, Maintenance, Cleanup, each with its own subtotal. Mowing and hedge trimming, aeration and dethatching, beds and mulch, sod and seeding, patios, retaining walls and walkways, sprinklers, valves and drip line, spring and fall cleanups, shrub removal and stump grinding.
GIVE THEM SOMETHING TO CUT
Mark a line optional and it prints with a tick box. When they untick the patio the total redraws in front of them, and you keep the job instead of losing the bid.
THE SCOPE PARAGRAPH WRITES ITSELF
One tap and the Details tab turns the lines you priced into whole sentences of scope of work, composed on this phone. Change a word or leave it.
WHAT KEEPS FALLING OFF THE BID
Dump fees, delivery, equipment rental and permits get rows of their own, and a fuel surcharge can run as a percentage of materials and labor instead of a number you guess at.
NOBODY SUGGESTS A PRICE BUT YOU
The library arrives with rows for the trades you tick and not one price in it. Sell by the unit, by the hour or by pot size. When the yard raises mulch, move the whole library by a percentage and put it back with one tap. Export CSV, fix fifty prices on a laptop, bring it back.
SIGNED AT THE KITCHEN TABLE
They tick their options, read the total and sign on the glass. After that the quote is a record: a change starts a variant instead of rewriting history. Variants send good, better and best off one set of measurements, each with its own quote number.
THEN THE INVOICE, THEN THE ROUTE
An accepted estimate becomes an invoice with the deposit already off it, and payments are recorded against it. Put the mowing on a maintenance contract and on the first of the month the app raises last month's invoice from the schedule. Reports show your win rate, what an accepted job is worth on average, and the optional lines customers decline most.
ON PAGE ONE
Business name, logo, license number, insurer and policy number. Site photos, a finger sketch of beds and paths, photos of past work. Deposit, payment terms, plant warranty, valid-until date.
IT DOES NOT PHONE HOME
No account, no login, no portal, no server, nothing waiting on a connection. Quotes, photos and signatures live in this app's own storage, and a backup is one zip of the database and every photo, written where you point it. Three reminders and nothing else: a quiet quote, an expiring one, a weekly backup nudge. No advertising on any plan, because your customer is looking at this screen too.
UNITS AND TAX
Feet and yards or metres. US, Canadian or Australian dollars. You type the tax rate you charge and choose whether it lands on materials, labor or both. The app holds no tax table and offers no tax advice.
UNLOCKING IT
A weekly or yearly subscription, or one payment for life. Price and billing period are on screen before anything is charged.
